Looking out a 2nd floor south window towards 4th street. When I walked to my home from school on 6th Avenue and 4th Street I often stopped at the little grocery at 4th Street and 9th Avenue and either bought the button candy, or for 5 cents I could buy a nice piece of smoked whitefish. Yum! Both those prices and the store are gone now.
